<p>I am applying Early Decision to Bryn Mawr College, here are my stats:</p>

<p>gpa: 3.5
class rank: top 50%</p>

<p>SAT I
M: 640 V: 700
SATII
Writing: 780
US History: 680
Lit: 650</p>

<p>7 AP, 2 honors classes completed by graduation.</p>

<p>Solo/chamber music/orchestra (violin): 25 hrs/week
Teaching music: 4 hrs/week
Assistant editor of the literary arts magazine
Officer in French club
Bilingual, with multicultural background.</p>

<p>I know I have excellent essays and great recs, but I'm scared about my gpa/class rank because I know they are on the low side. I've visited BMC and I'm going back for an interview next week. It is definitely my 1st choice school, and I hope that my enthusiasm will be evident to the interviewer.</p>

<p>Please help me figure out what my chances are!!</p>

<p>your rank seems a little low, your gpa isn't bad at all for bryn mawr, but that rank is not good at all</p>

<p>I think you will get into Bryn Mawr, you may get waitlisted and your academic scholarships won't be great, but I think an interview will really help.</p>

<p>I know my class rank is low, but I go to a very competative HS. Not everyone with a 4.0 makes the top 10%! </p>
