Chances at BU, Tulane, etc..

<p>Hi! What are my reaches/ matches? I'm new so thanks in advance! </p>

<p>GPA: 3.55
SAT I: 2050 (will retake in Nov)
(Taking SAT II in Oct.)
Expected to have good reccs and essay
Rank: Not positive, about top 10-15%
Classes: Taken most challenging classes available plus half of my credits junior and senior year at local junior college
EC: 4 years on highly competitve cheerleading teams, a state title, 2nd place nat'ls
Internship with local state representative
3 years working with Salvation Army in the winter
6 years voice lessons and recitals
Summer working at local kid's store
Summer abroad learning Italian in Italy
Breakdancing and hip-hop classes at dance studio this year</p>

Boston U
Tulane (if they take apps considing hurricane)
Pitzer
UMich - Ann Arbor
Penn State
U of Wisc - Madison</p>

<p>I'd say your chances at BU are real good.
Your reaches are probably UMich (if you are out of state) and Tulane
The rest are probably good match/safties</p>

<p>UMich - Reach (Less than 25% chance of admission)</p>

<p>Reason: GPA is too low for an OOS applicant</p>

<p>However, if you're in-state, you have a slight chance (likely 25-50%)</p>

<p>Wisconsin is essentially the same for Admissions as Michigan. Penn State is a little lower, you have a solid chance there.</p>

<p>Pitzer's acceptance rate is about to get into the range of the other Claremonts. Have talked to admission officers, the amount of applicants for an extremely limited number of spaces is making it dangerously competitive. Pitzer - Match at best, posisbly even slight reach. (Wold have been a safety couple years ago)</p>
