SAT Math: 710
SAT Reading: 660
AP Tests: Bio - 5, APUSH - 4, English LAC - 5, Calc - In progress, Chem - In progress
SAT II: Bio - 670, USH - 710

Extras: 3 years varsity football, rec basketball, undergraduate research at a local college, published in a scientific journal for said research, shadowing/observing neurosurgery department at a local hospital, powerlifing team, NHS, student council, a few others,

I will go into premed with a probable bio major. I understand that some of these are a stretch based on my not-so-flattering numbers. But, i think i have a chance with the ECAs. Anyone want to tell me what my chances are? Columbia would be my #1 even though its the biggest stretch but i would love to go to JHU as well. I also have PITT as a backup. Thoughts?

Are you Indian as your name would suggest? If so, then no. Unless you’re Muslim, that’ll get bonus points.

God bless meritocracy!

pick one and apply ED

Any score in the 600’s, I think, is going to make Ivies really tough. JHU does seem to give some weight to ED applicants and demonstrated interest, so JHU seems possible ED. Maybe think about U. Rochester and Brandeis as places that are more like matches but not exactly safeties. You need something at that level too.
