chances at Columbia, WUSTL, or JHU

Hi. I am going to be a senior next year.
I plan to apply to Columbia (early decision).
I want to major in biology or chemistry.
Well, here are my stats:
GPA: 3.8
SAT I: 2150 (retaking it)
SAT II: Math IC-750, i am going to take Math IIC and English Literature in October.
**The flaw of my stats is that I have not taken any AP classes (9th-11th).
I am going to take AP Bio, AP CalculusAB, and AP English next year. However I have always been in Honors I classes (highest classes offered). My high school only offers AP US History(10th grade) and AP European History (11th grade). I don't really like history so I took Honors instead.
ECs:
Student Ambassadors: 10,11,12
French Club: 10,11,12 (secretary for two years).
French NHS: 11,12 (President)
NHS: 11,12 (I tutor underclassmen during my study period once a wk or after school).
I established an Amnesty International club at my school.
School newspaper and magazine: 9,11,12 (probably some kind of editor for one of them).
Habitat for Humanity: 10,11 (I volunteer whenever possible).
American Cancer Society Relay for Life (volunteer).
Winner of Knights of Columbus essay contest (essay about religion)
Semi-finalist for the International Poetry Contest
Xavier University Service Book Award
I received "Certificate of Participation" for numerous essay contests (should I add that in my college application???)
Nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and the National Student Leadership Conference
Golf: 3 years
Tae Kwon Do: since 5 years old
Columbia is my DREAM school! I will do anything to go there.
Do I have a decent chance?
What about WUSTL and JHU?
Please give me some advices to improve my chances.
Thank you for taking the time to read my stats!!! :0)

i could really use some help!!

Your stats look very similar to mine when I applied ED this year (I had a 3.83 UW GPA, 1440 SAT I, 750 M, 690 V and 800 Writing). Columbia loves to see dedication to a few select EC's and you have definately shown 3-4 years of committment with many of your EC's.

Columbia, as a politically active campus, loves to see students who are also politically active and starting an Amnesty International at your HS is impressive. Keep up the Habitat for Humanity and Red Cross in your senior year, do not let them slide.

I definately say apply ED, write a creative essay and I think you stand a good shot at getting in.

Best of luck to you next year in your application process! If you do come to campus in the fall and take a tour, I might be your tour guide.

-Jaug1
Columbia College, Class of 2009

Do you think discontinuing something like music (chorus) would look detrimental on one's application jaug?

Depends on how many years you have doing it.

Personally, absolutely it would be detrimental not only to an application but more so for yourself. My biggest EC is music and I love it. I think discontinuing that would be a shame because music can bring such joy to a person.

I am not an expert on college admissions, and do not pretend to be. I can only say what I have learned during my process so that others here might be benefitted.

jaug1- thanks for your help!! :0)
Are 3 AP classes sufficient for Columbia? I have tried to take challenging classes (all Honors I). I am taking AP Biology, CalculusAB, and English Literature next year.
I hope to get approximately 2350 when I retake the SAT I in October. I hope that will boost my chances!
Also, I want to major in either Biology or Chemistry. Is it better if I take SAT II Bio or Chem. or does it not matter?
THANKS again!!
