Hi, I'm a black female living in a low income household (below 30k) in Chicago. I want to go to DePaul because it's close to home, so I can help my parents out whenever, and it just gives me a nicer vibe than the other colleges here. I've done some research and it shows that I'm a good fit for the school major-wise. I want to major in Information Technology and become either a database analyst or healthcare information technician.

3.7 UW GPA

AP Eng Comp score 3 (teacher taught us nothing about rhetoric, so I bombed the MC)

As for ECs, my parents were firmly against allowing me to participate in hardly anything, and made me quit the few I had, all because they were afraid I'd get shot or something on the way home from school. Their paranoia has ruined me. So yeah, I know this will really kill my chances, right?

Art Club 2012-2013
Spanish Honor Society 2012-2013
Gardening Club 2012-2013

I know my stats are absolute rubbish compared to the rest of the community, but...this is all I've got. I did my best, but it really feels like it's not enough. Do I even stand a chance?
