<p>Acedmic GPA: 3.26
All-Subject 3.43 not weighted:3.35 (I started with a 3.0, it gradually grew to a 4.0 my last semester of junior yr).</p>

<p>College Essay: I have a great idea. It is how i got into technology. Everybody tells me its an interesting idea because of the way i got into tech. It was kind of by accident. </p>

<p>I want to major in Information Assurance and minor in Computer Science(maybe).</p>

<p>Choices of colleges: (I live in Chicago, i also go to a great highschool)
(Realisticly speaking)
1st: DePaul
2nd: UIC
3rd: Loyola
(If god gives me the power :P)
1st: Urbana Champagne
2nd: Illinois Institute of Tech</p>

<p>Okay now that I have given you that info, i think the only think that hurts me is my ACT, especially that reading score. Its not that im a bad reader just a really slow one. Do they focus in individual scores? Should i send in my second lower score because it has a higher reading but lower everything else. Is it to late to take the next October one? (I really dont want to do it because i know it wont go any higher). I didnt take the one that happened today because i feel like it was to close to summer and im still kinda dumb :P and need to re-jog some of my intelligence, mostly math.</p>

<p>I know DePaul does act optional, but 4 extra essays? Is my act that bad?</p>

<p>Anyway, I really really want to go to depaul because they have an amazing Informaton Assurnace program, if i do get accepted, i would admit without even looking at any other colleges. What are my chances? </p>

<p>Dude you have a 100% chance of getting into Depaul. Loyola i’d say a 25% chance. Take U of I and Illinois Tech off your list. But Depaul is a safety for you. Get your ACT up and your set for U of I. Just ACT holding u back</p>

<p>Do I have a good chance at UIC as well? There is not many school that offer a information assurance program in the chicago area, so I do not have to many options. DePaul is the only school that offers a great IA program. If i dont get into Depaul, then I am forced to take computer science, which is my second major choice. But saying I have a 100% chance really boosted my confidence :)</p>

<p>The major issue at UIC is that Computer Science is in the College of Engineering. Your grades/ACT score are good enough for LAS, but are on the low end for engineering. The average ACT for Engineering is about 27/28.
