I know my gpa could be higher, but I also slacked my freshman/sophomore years which really brought me down. I had a 4.1 last year and a similar gpa this year.

What is your unweighted GPA? What are you AP scores, SAT II’s, ACT? Do you have any hooks? (minority, first family member in college, legacy?)

^this is a bit random and not terribly informative - not sure that it would be particularly well received as part of a college application

What is your GPA out of? and is it weighted?
Seems like you have good chances… SAT is decent, you have great ECs.
Definitely will get in Wake forest, UNC and Northwestern are Low reaches, and Duke is a Mid Reach I think. But you definitely have a chance at all of them
Best of Luck to you, hope you get into all of them!

chance me back please!

Extremely sub-par standardized test scores, a largely unimpressive GPA and very weak extracurriculars means that all of the schools on your list are high reaches or are out of reach.

I wouldn’t say anything about you would seem “special” to the universities you have applied to. Your SAT score is not very high, Your GPA is good and you’ve taken some AP’s, but I would have suggested taking more, And your ECs are decent, but not great by any means.

I would say: UNC is a low reach, along with Wake Forest and maybe Northwestern (it could also be a mid reach). However, I think Duke might be a mid to high reach. Good luck anyway.

Chance me?

Stats don’t seem out of reach for Wake Forest and UNC. I agree that NU and Duke are pretty much gone though. Might want to get some safeties.
