<p>No great ECs, but I had an engineering internship a couple summers ago and I'm doing dual enrollment this year because my high school doesn't have many AP classes.</p>
<p>Well, I’m not sure ED is such a great idea, since I’m not sure about the financial aid package I’d get, and I’m not filthy rich. And I’m definitely not applying to engineering</p>
<p>From the information available, it doesn’t look very bright.</p>
<p>I do know that Duke loves “rural vals”, though, so maybe you do have a chance. But if you did get accepted, I wonder if your education has prepared you for the hard work that a Duke education entails.</p>
<p>So the implication is that other colleges don’t require hard work? Interesting point of view. As I said, I’m taking dual enrollment classes at a university right now, which I believe prepares me quite handsomely for college work</p>
