I was deferred from Fairfield Univeristy, what are my chances of still getting in? I have a 3.1 unweighted GPA 2.9 weighted. I recieved a 1560 on SATS and played 2 years of basketball and 3 of tennis. I have volunteer work as well if that matters. I got into Sacred Heart University with a $10,000 scholarship (a year), but have heard bad things about the students hating it there. I applied as a Business Marketing major, and will be paying full price if that matters at all.

Well your GPA and test scores are below their average but you didnt get rejected so there must be something keeping you in the running. If you have great recs and essays alongside your ECs and volunteer work then id say you’re a match/high match.

How can your unweighted GPA be higher than your weighted one? And, did you submit your SAT scores to them? (Fairfield is test optional.)
