I've been wondering if I would be a strong applicant to Fordham RH. I do not need financial aid.
good ecs, not going to list them
UW GPA: 3.6-3.7ish (not great but i've taken only honors and AP classes)
W GPA: 4.2-4.3ish
ACT: 31
SUBJECT TESTS: ENG LIT 650 US HIS 760
I've not received my AP scores in the mail yet, but my english teacher called me to tell me I got a 5 on eng lang.

Seems like a match to me assuming your GPA is on a 4.0 scale and you write a great essay! Good luck! :)

You will get in, you have good scores and a good gpa.

You are an outstanding candidate and they may even offer you a scholarship.

Thats good to hear! Although it’s hard to believe I could get a scholarship.

If your combined math and critical reading scores are effectively a 1400 or above then yes, you may well qualify for a scholarship. Its not an absolute number, but pretty close. Depends on the candidate and other factors as well. But every applicant at Fordham is automatically reviewed for scholarship potential. Good luck.

So if I received a 31 on math and 33 on reading for the act is that good enough for scholarship consideration?

There are websites which convert ACT scores to SAT. I don’t know how Fordham treats ACT scores for scholarship, but I am certain there is a relative number they use. It does seem to me, however, that you are likely in the scholarship category, judging from what I can determine from the conversion tables. Good luck.

n.b. Its up to Fordham and the Admissions Committee.
