25th out of 390ish students
SAT: 770M 680V 580W (retaking it in October)
SAT IIs: 710(IIC) 670 USHist, 630 E Bio (retaking in November) </p>
<p>I'm taking the toughest classes my school offers, all the AP and college-level classes that were offered- 4, excluding Art Portfolio. I've been taking math at the University of Nebraska since the summer after my sophomore year. Right now i'm taking Calculus III Honors at UNL. </p>
<p>I'm one of the top Public Forum debaters in the state, won a tournament while being a semifinalist in many other tournaments last year. 2nd Alternate to Nationals 11th grade, 4th alternate 10th grade. I also got 5th place at Congress National Qualifiers in 11th grade. This year i'm a captain and i'm expected to go to Nationals and make a run at State. </p>
<p>I did Science Olympiad 8th, 9th and 10th grade. Earned two first place event medals at State 9th grade year and a 4th place 10th grade. Went to Nationals 9th and 10th. I placed 11th individually in one event 9th grade year, and 5th in one event 10th grade year at Nats. I "retired" after 10th grade year and went to my middle school to help coach their team. They got 2nd, but the two events I coached both got first. I plan on continuing coaching this year. </p>
<p>I am currently the President of FBLA, after helping restart our chapter last year as Vice President. I placed in the top 10 at a regional competition in 2 of my events. At State I earned an honorable mention in one event. Honorable mentions have to be in the top 5% out of 200+ competitors. I also got sixth in a speaking event. </p>
<p>There's other random tidbits like, I'm on the newspaper staff where i'm a section editor and the business manager. I went to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law last fall. I'm on two youth community advisory boards, the Police Department's board and our school districts. Right now for our school district we are working on a project to help curb drug and alcohol use and another project to equalize our building equipment. I'm also in National Honors Society. </p>
<p>I'm looking to apply to Brown, Georgetown, Yale, UPenn, Stanford, Boston College and Wesleyan. I'm sending my app early to Georgetown. Oh right, i'm also Asian.</p>
