Chances at Georgetown

I did take Arabic this semester, and a 300-level class where I was the only student who was under 21.

Just to note: I also started a charitable organization to help orphans in Iran. I will be spending a month in Iran this summer working with the charity i created. Will this help me a great deal?

I mean anything is possible, that's a pretty strong EC. However, it's admissions with only one semester of high school so you can't ignore that record.

Thanks for everyones responses that have been very helpful and informative. I understand that one strong semester in college is hard to cover up my grades from high school. My high school grades, however, are very strong in the social sciences. Most of my poor grades were a result of math and science classes. I am taking mainly social studies classes in college, though I received an A in my Statistics class in college

Will admissions pick up on this? Will it make a difference? Or do they just look at the overall GPA from high school?
