Chances at getting into James Madison University

<p>Hi I am wondering about my chances at getting into JMU.
I am a senior at a private catholic high school in northern virginia.
GPA Weighted: 3.4
SAT 1600 - 1280
SAT 2400 - 1930
I have taken mostly honors courses, AP Macroeconomics, AP Government, Symphonic Band (highest band for all 4 years).
I played baseball in grades 9,10 and golf in grades 11,12.
I currently have a 1st quarter GPA of 4.1 and my grades have increased each year.</p>

<p>What do you think that my chances are of getting in for regular decision application?
I hope to major in Accounting, if that helps?</p>

<p>I’d say you have a pretty good shot at getting in, what is your unweighted gpa?</p>

<p>Are you a male or a female? It is one of those schools that is much tougher to get into as a female. my son graduated from jmu in 07.</p>

<p>I don’t know about Va. Tech. but I’d say, based on your stats, you have a very good chance of being admitted to jmu. Are you in state or out of state?</p>

<p>i am in state, but a lot of people from my school apply there. about 80-100 every year.</p>
