<p>Hey, I'd really appreciate if y'all could help me out with this. See, I'm an early graduate, finishing high school in three years because I have exhausted the school's possible course offerings. Also, I was wondering if the 1520 on the SAT hurts me with my strong extra currics and SAT II scores? Advice and chances please?</p>

IBs done: 7 US History, 7 Music Theory with Musical Performance</p>

<p>I know Harvard Early Action is basically a lottery, but I just wanted to know my chances as the resume looks. I'm applying to many schools because I'm scared of what might happen so I think for regular decision, I'm applying:
Yale, Princeton, U.Chicago, Penn-Wharton, Dartmouth, Stanford, Rice, Northwestern, Columbia, UCLA, and UT-Austin.</p>

Summer of 10th grade/Beginning of the next school year-Employed by Electrophysiological Practice in Texas Heart Institute to read EKGs, Worked 5 hours daily for 12 weeks. Was on payroll and earned $3500 by the end of the term. Attended National You Leadership Forum on Medicine</p>

<p>I'm receiving letters of recommendation from my Latin teacher, my English teacher(student govt. sponsor), and my piano teacher.</p>

<p>Additionally, I'm sending off two supplementary cds to be evaulated. The piano cd has Chopin's minute waltz, Mozart's Variations on Twinkle Twinkle Schumann's Traumerei, and Chopin's Nocturne in Eb. These are pieces that I have played in both national and regional competitions.</p>

<p>Any advice is very helpful, unless, of course, it's unrelenting destructive. Haha, so please keep it calm and constructive =) Thanks.</p>

<p>Wow. haha, wow. That's all I have to say, really. Nice job, thatindiandude! (as opposed to this one over here) What I see is strong academics, nicee scores, extremely extremely well developed extra curriculars (I see you're a four-dee man: academics, sports, music, and more science).</p>

<p>In terms of advice for the future, write those awesine essays and get those teacher recs in. You shouldn't have too much trouble.</p>

<p>But then again, I'll be mean just for your sake and say that indeed, all those colleges are crapshoots for anyone. Don't slack this year. Good luck!</p>

<p>The fact that you're Indian-American doesn't help you much, but your skills are extraordinary. I think you've got a good chance - they have to admit some Indians.</p>

<p>Also, it seems you've not self-studied anything. If I were you I would self-study a third language before December and take its SAT II. It would increase your already formidable chances with Harvard.</p>

<p>Alright, I'll take the Chinese SAT II with listening. It's kinda crazy, but because all my friends are Chinese and I've wanted in on their convos, I studied it. Now, whenever they think they're being covert, I've got 'em. Thanks for all the advice. Also, would the fact that I'm an early graduate hurt me? I've essentially finished my school's honors and AP offerings for me, and I feel that rather than attend a less than spectacular junior college, I should try to further myself in prominant, legit university. I wrote about this on my application for Harvard EA(But didn't specifically say "less than spectacular junior college"). Whatdya think?</p>

<p>If you were serious about the Chinese SATII, be careful; the curve is steep (because so many native speakers take and ace the test) and the actual subject matter is pretty obscure. Have you taken the practice test yet? (I say "the" instead of "a" because there is only one Chinese SATII practice test in existence...)</p>

<p>Hm, then, never mind that. Hopefully it'll be fine before that. Now, just have to hope for good December 15 results. Actually, I"ll probably take the SAT I again in January to boost up to 1580. Thanks, and as always, any more help is gladly appreciated.</p>
