My sister also attends Harvard as an undergrad as a soph.. if this has any weight.

Personally I think I'm fubar'd due to my slip up soph year.. Oh well... Basically after the 1st half of soph year I started trying and hitting the books more instead of mixing till 3 am.

I'd say you're likely to be accepted. Solid scores, descent extra curricular activities, and legacy! Good luck.

This is a really tough call, african american from middle of nowhere.... but that rank is really low and I don't know if your ECs are strong enough to counter it... those SATs are superb..... though african americans with stronger stats have been rejected..

I don't know anyone on this board who could make a good surmise on your chances- just apply and see

BTW siblings doesnt count as legacy

I don't think you'll get in.

u'v got an awesome chance! good luck. AA with those stats is a virtual acceptance at least one of the top unis, if not Harvard.

what is weak about my EC's?

For one, you founded student food PANTY volunteer program. I bet they'll think you are a perv.

lol that is a typo.. food PANTRY*,

edit: I'm also applying EA if this changes anything...?

Also my intended major is Women and Gender studies and or African American Studies

I had my interview today and it went stellar.. Does this have any weight on acceptance?... or am I a lost soul?

Why the low class rank? The soph slump hurting the GPA is understandable, but I can't think of any hypercompetive Wyoming magnet (or are you at a boarding school out of state?) so a 90/477 is rather low.

Other than that you're in excellent shape. SATs are superb, ECs are decent, APs not quite perfect but very good. You've really taken more APs than any other student in your state? Impressive.

yeah, your GPA doesn't match your stellar test scores and other credentials. good luck though; a good interview is always promising.
