GPA Frosh 1st Sem 4.0, 2nd Sem 3.57... Started falling a sleep during school
GPA Soph year was 3.0 1st sem C Algebra II, 3.71 2nd sem B Algebra II :(
Note: I was diagnosed with narcolepsy just before the 3rd quarter my JR. year.. Basically I wasn't able to do much work without either being extremely tired. I wrote in my essay explaining this as well as my counselor wrote about it in his recomendation.

To Recover my GPA I had to to a multitude of independent study programs from our district over the summer. So my transcript has an insane ammount of credits in some worthless classes (Child Development, Foods, Physical Science) But I also took some somewhat meritable classes like History/s, Anatomy.
Junior Summer: Was at Harvard SSP, Recieved an A and A- in my courses.
How will the circumstances reflect my admission. And will Legacy help at all?</p>

<p>I'd say you have an awesome shot anywhere you want to apply, seeing as how you're like the only black person in South Dakota and you have amazing stats.</p>

<p>the fact that you're black is the hook, but your two community service organizations are awesome as well. Props to you...let us know where you get in, because you'll likely be accepted into all of those schools.</p>

<p>I see no concievable reason why you would be rejected from any school you applied to. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the very strong academic motivation (extremely good test scores as well) and really nice extracurriculars. </p>

<p>I feel that your African American stats and South Dakota background really seal the deal for you, but I can honestly say that you would get into many of the most highly selective schools without either tip factor. So great job on everything.</p>

<p>impressive. Test scores are, and the community service ecs even more so. Your af status is gonna help you more so. of course I can't honestly say you're gonna be accepted for sure, but your chances are very-extrordinarily likely.</p>

go read my earlier post from this year. I included that SAT score because I retook it and added my SatII writing.</p>

<p>I was questioning my admittace due to the low GPA I had my sophmore year.
And yes I did recieve a 3 on my AP Psych. exam because I was swamped with other tests to prep. Therefore I neglected learning the psych as well as I should. I wasn't given the opportunity to be taught it. I had to teach myself the subject. MSG me later on and I will send you a scanned copy of my Sat results and my transcript if need be.</p>
