I know my unweighted GPA really kills my app. However, I did show a nice upward trend(All A's Junior Year).

It would appear as if your school is extremely competitive, given your UW GPA. That being said, if you say you are African American, your chances are much higher, so I’d say, especially given your tests, that you’re a low reach at Harvard.

1/4. Bah that can’t count. Do you even look a little african?

Thing about harvard is that everything is a crapshot. I’d suggest applying for cornell too because it’s in fact the easiest ivy to get into so if you want an ivy name on your diploma, Cornell’s might be your best chance.

Nice volunteer hours. 550 trumps my feeble 150.

You’ll be a typical applicant in the Harvard pool.

Yes a good chance at any other school but this is harvard. One of my freind’s brothers had a perfect ACT, SAT, SAT II and he had a UW 4.0 GPA for 8 semesters straight.

He was the president of 4 clubs and he played varsity basketball and did 250+ hours of volunteering. Harvard rejected him but he got into MIT for engineering.

-Plus he won a crapload of Basketball/Math/Science awards.

Well, I don’t know what you mean by “good chance,” but it’s false that the OP is a typical Harvard applicant. The OP has a far better chance than the vast majority of the other applicants.

GPA is below harvard standards, but your awards/ec more than make up for it
You obviously have skill in math, science and business so apply for one of those majors
Good luck. I’m applying to Harvard too
