We have about the same numbers. But your awards and ECs are outsanding compared to mine.

Even still, I got into Yale EA. I have no legacy at Yale, and I am asian. I think you will do REALLY well during the regular round. Think YHPSM. Seriously.

Yeah, I mean, i had similar grades, lower SATs, and less "nationally acclaimed" ECs but I got into Stanford EA (indian girl in Cali). I don't see how you didn't get into Yale but it seems certain that you will get into at least one of HPS (if not all). There is no way all those schools could defer you!

Yale has a lower EA rate than half of the Ivies, so I wouldn't be discouraged on account of that allow. A deferral from Yale is still an accomplishment (given that the reject about 1/2), so you are still in the game. I think HYPS is still possible and you will make it into at least one Ivy.

The only catch appears to be your class rank, but your school is hyper competitive. Does your school rank? If not, you're in the clear as your GPA is solid enough. If they do, it may play against you since you aren't in the first decile. For example, 95% of the students in Yale's class last year of those who were ranked were in the top 10% of their high school class.

no my school doesn't rank. However, in the school profile that is sent to colleges I believe it says there are 16 (out of 77 total) students that have UW gpa's between 3.76 - 3.99. Thanks for all the comments guys.

nice numbers, but almost everyone applying to your top listed schools have similar numbers. i hope you get into one of the first few you listed, but i wouldn't be suprised if you get shut out either. there are amazing people out there. there is one other reason that you may not have gotten in...your essays sucked.
