are you talking about getting into the bac/MD program...or the Health Promotions program? Cause i believe that's all undergraduates can do that pertains to the Keck Med school...

numbers wise- i think you have a good chance... but USC really looks at personality (in the interview).... they also look at why you want to do medicine(in the essay).. you need something more than "i want to help people"... gluck!! :)

not to burst your bubble, but I had very similar stats, and I didn't get an interview. (I did get a presidential scholarship though) I think USC is looking for something very specific, I don't what that is, so I'm not much of a help.

I'm not that familiar with the BA/MD program, but from what I hear it is extremely competitive and there are only a few slots. So even people with superb stats will get turned down from it.

But remember this is a unique program that gives you acceptance to med school - nearly all of the people that do go to med school go through the regular process of getting their bachelors done first.

Also, consider that the BA/MD program is an "incentive" program to pull students toward USC - it's to leech the best students away from great medical universities like stanford and johns hopkins by offering the near guaranteed med school acceptance which is very competitive anyway. It's not meant to be a wide program to find whoever is qualified and give it to them.

^ Yes. I got a trustee scholarship (my stats were higher than yours, but in the same range I guess), but didn't even get an interview for Bac/MD. So don't be too disappointed if you don't get in! It's very difficult.

there will be students with lower or high stats than you who got into the program. It is not solely based on your achievements, but rather on something "different". Your grades are put into consideration as to whether or not you get an interivew, but from there it's based more on your interview essays.
