Can Someone Please Tell me of my Chances?

<p>Hi,
So I recently visited the campus and it really made me want to go to USC, but I don't know if I have a chance or not. I think it might be a bit of a reach but I still want to go!
I live in Los Angeles, CA and go to a reputable high school
Planning to Major in Biological Sciences, go to medical school, and ultimately become a doctor.</p>

− A chapter of a local organization. Volunteers hang out and socialize with special-needs kids to make them feel more comfortable and wanted at school and in the community.

− Bake Sale Fundraisers—Helped sell baked goods to pay for the cost of sending special needs kids to Six Flags Magic Mountain.
− Skechers Pier-to-Pier Friendship Walk—Donated and walked to raise money for RUHS’ Friendship Circle Club.

− Small group of students who try to encourage more teenage Muslims to become better acquainted with Islam and to be devout followers of the religion by organizing fun activities.</p>

<p>If it helps, I'm also from a low-income family raised by a single mother. I'm half-Black and half-Asian (Pakistani). Mother was born outside of the US and didn't manage to complete a college education.

<p>According to our school’s Naviance scattergram you are right on the edge of the typical lower threshold. I do see a couple of outliers -one acceptance at SAT 1700, GPA 3.7 (uw) and also a rejection at SAT 2340, GPA 3.5 (uw). Your underrepresented minority status will help and USC is very generous with need-based financial aid. You should apply by Dec. 1st in order to be considered for merit based aid as well.</p>

<p>What does anyone else think? I really would appreciate the extra help! :)</p>
