Ok. So now that I've finished applying to all my colleges I thought I'd just put them up and see what you guys think. Final chances, comments, anything.

Just to update it a bit:
I got 800's in Math II, Physics and Chemistry
I got predicted a 41/42 on my ib exams.
My essays actually came off quite well. I'm really happy with them.
Got great recommendations

Remember, I'm still applying for a lot of aid.

lot of aid?
Cornell will rej you-- they give no substantial aid to Intl.

H P S M are unpredictable.

Rice, Northwestern give no aid to intl as well.
UChi is good, but hard to get aid from.
WashU i dont know.

HMC no aid for intl, they take in about 2 intl every year, you know your chance.
the other LACs are good, but Midd is not strong in sciences and none of them have engin.

I think you'll be able to get into Harvard or Princeton, as you have pretty much every leadership opportunity possible in your ECs, which is really good. MIT not so much, since admission to MIT from India is incredibly competitive.

it is SO HARD to get into MIT as an international. in fact they don't even have enough spaces for their RSI'ers...that's why the percentage of RSI'ers admitted to MIT is like 80%. and if you know anything about RSI it is freakin hard to get in in the first place--4% for both int'l and americans

Research Science Institute-badass summer program that sends applications basically to people who score really really high on the PSAT and/or do some hardcore research, etc (aka very self selective group of people apply). if you read anything on CC it all basically says it's impossible to get into RSI, so moderately smart people are scared away and then you have the TOP TOP TOP about 2000 people from around the world apply to this summer program and they take 25 int'ls and 50 Americans. lol. the acceptance rate is less than 4% (compared to ~10% MIT admission rates) PLUS much more self-selective. Lol basically you can go to any college you want after RSI, granted you're not an int'l cuz it's so much harder to get in as an int'l given the amount of competition. I think for everyone from RSI who applied early this year got in with the exception of like 2 random people who were deferred (or so i've read somewhere else on this site)
