Any comments are appreciated!!!

im no expert, but id say theyre pretty good

oh, and 35 ACT, forgot to add

val + 2380 + solid sat 2's + decent ECs + TASP = in MIT EA.

How'd you like TASP?

Wow. your SAT test score is amazing! it will definitely set you apart.
ur ec's are very strong too.
the highlight is that you spent a year abroad in Germany to study. and the fact that you come from a small Oregon school may make you more speicail in their eyes.
the weak thing has to be the number of AP class/tests taken. but hopefully your other +'s will cover them

I'd say your chances are pretty good. high match/low reach ish? (just because it's MIT)

Chance me back please?? :)

enjoy brown!

I think you are good. Just don't screw up the interview!

yeah this is first time where someones ECs are sick compared to stats for ivy/ mit calc tech, etc. hopefuls. ur definitely in

chance me?
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/609117-chances-duke-uva-chicago-william-mary-vt-wake.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/609117-chances-duke-uva-chicago-william-mary-vt-wake.html</a></p>

Princetonbound, the OP made the board first.

wow I feel stupid now.

Now i understand everything/

hmm, someone clearly has too much time if they're using it to make multiple accounts on CC and make retarded comments

Allow me to be the first person to doubt your chances lol (just b/c I think a lot of people are either not familiar with the craziness of MIT's admissions or simply trying to not be brutal and are therefore telling you half the truth). The full truth is that, like thousands of other MIT applicants, you have the academic qualifications. Unfortunately, your ECs are a little too straightforward and somewhat mundane (though very nice in their own right). If it wasn't MIT, I'd say you'd have an excellent shot, but the competition for MIT is such that you're going to need some big science award or significant activity (the research is good in this sense) to really make you stand out. You have good chances of getting in, but you should most certainly not expect it.

thanks for the honesty, I'm actually similairly minded about it right now

You write pretty well for not knowing english!
