MIT chances

Hey, I am a guy from Germany and I'd like to know whether I have any chances getting into MIT.
What's the good thing about my application?
Well, first of all:

Grades in school: the very best you can have. they are perfect
SAT II Math 2c: 770
SAT II Physics: 780

Activities: Stanford University Mathematics Camp
Practical at a renowned physical research center
various special programs (university, etc.)

Special things:

Programmed an own Operating System (in C)
I am doing the German Abitur AND the International Baccalaureate

I don't know, if I read all those applications, they seem so strong. you guys do some much stuff in USA, so many activites. There isn't something comparable here in germany. Actually it is something totally exotic to participate in SUMaC (stanford university mathematics camp) and I am glad to have done it. Now i am wondering whether i have a chance to get into mit.
Personally, I think that I should be one of the strongest applicants in germany. what else can you do? I am the only one in germany who does both german abitur and the IB. I have programmed an own Operating system. the only thing is that I could have done more competitions; but it is different than in the USA.

Anyway, what do you think? Is there any chance?
I'd be glad for some feedback...

your GPA, your Toefl and your SATs?

Also, MathIIC is usually 800 for MIT people.

Oh, it is not. You could say it is "more often 800 than in the general population of college applicants", but not "usually" 800.

800 is not necessary.

Ummmm, a 770 on Math IIC is basically average for MIT, so what the hell was sr6622 talking about...

hhhmmm...I'm glad you guys have pounced on me, but considering he is an internaitonal appliant, chances are MUCH harder.
So, an 800 would probably look better. Also, I didn't say a 770 was bad, I just meant that many applicants will have an 800.

I guess I have influenced by Ben Goulb a little too much....

First, thanks for you replies.
I know that the fact that I am international makes things more difficult.

I cannot tell you my GPA because school system is different in Germany. However, as I already said, it is more or less the best grade you can get. It is really good. We are about 110 pupils in 12th grade and I am the best, so that would be top 1%.

A bad thing is, I think, that I do not really have a regional reputation. I have got a second place in a regional music contest, but I am not sure if that helps. Unfortunately, competitions are not popular here in Germany; barely anyone participates. I am participating in the math olympiad now, but I think that's too late.

Anyway, what do you think?

Come on, no idea guys? I just want to know whether it is futile to apply or not.

Please...something

hallo, lol, ( Im taking german classes so its nice to say a word or two once in a while) I would have to say that your chances being ainternational student are reduced (I know what it feels lol, Im from costa rica) and I do think that the lack of ECs that stand out ( awards etc) might affect you.

"Programmed an own Operating System"

You should definitely talk about this in your application with great details. I strongly encourage you to apply MIT. Yes, international students are tougher to get in, but your resume is amazing; you should definitely apply. Good luck!
