<p>I just want to correct something I said before about the article on the top 5% being guaranteed admission to UF. The NOTE on the website talking about the top 5% is not under the SAT scores. It's located under the chart that starts with: "Percent in top 10th of high school graduating class". Sorry about the error.

<p>I just called UF. A admissions officer named "Emily" said that the article was old, therefore its not in effect anymore. BUT its unlikeley that someone in the top 5% of their class will get rejected, so my chances are still very good, despire my below average SAT scores. They also have my on the list for Upward Bound/TRIO attendees. :D</p>

<p>that link is for the 2005-2006 common data set and it is highly unlikely there could be a change in that short period of time. the 06-07 data set has not even been released yet. That must have been released less than a year ago, so that info about the top 5% is hardly outdated. I'm 99% sure it's still in effect.</p>
<p>I hope youre right. I read some guys thread and he said that their saluatorian was rejected at UF.</p>
