Ok, I am a high school student at an extremely competitive high school in Texas.

Here is a list of AP Classes I have by junior year:

Computer Science I
Computer Science II
World History
US History
English III
Physics I
Chemistry I
Calculus AB (taking BC next year, because I can)

I have finished 5 semesters and have a 90.86 unweighted GPA, and a 99.18 weighted GPA.
I am 156 of 629 kids, or 24.8%.

I took the SAT and ACT early junior year.
SAT
M: 750
R: 680
W: 600

Totals: 2030 (1430)

ACT
M: 36
E: 35
R: 34
S: 35

Composite: 35

I was planning on retaking the SAT, but will my ACT be good enough for me to send to all my colleges??

EC's
I plan to continue all my EC's into senior year.

3 years School Soccer (JV)
3 years Club Soccer
Boy Scout Eagle Scout & Senior Patrol Leader
75 Community Service Hours

2 years Computer Club
1 year German Club
What other EC's do I need?

OK, so my real question. Chances at the following schools:

Don’t send your SAT; your ACT is much more impressive. Unfortunately, your class rank is abysmal compared to the rest of the applicants for these schools. Your high school must be very competitive (as you said). Unfortunately, your rank is not going to bode well at these schools. Another problem is that you seem to lack leadership. Besides that, the best thing you can do right now is get kickass recs and write kickass essays.

Ahh, It’s a good thing I am still a Junior, then. The problem is that I can’t seem to find all these opportunities that everyone else finds where they win these awards and whatnot. I am applying for an internship at a local technology company, and hope to continue to work there.
