Chances at Northwestern University?

<p>Hello all, this is my first post on this fine forum. Day before yesterday, I received my SAT scores back and I received the following: Math: 800 CR: 800 Writing: 730. My unweighted GPA (out of 4) is 3.92. I am currently a junior in high school so I'm hoping that it will go up. Also, I believe that I'm to take the ACT and SAT II Subject Tests soon after preparation.</p>

<p>Anyway, For the majority of my life, I have desired to go to Northwestern University, although recently, I found that the tuition costs were pretty steep. Is there any chance of me getting any significant (maybe even full-ride) scholarships from this school? I come from a middle class family and I do not believe I qualify for any need-based scholarships. And, if it helps any, I am an Ohio resident.</p>

<p>I had a friend who made it into Princeton and many other prestigious universities yet only got on the waiting list to Northwestern. I think chances of admission can be more unpredictable than not. </p>

<p>Your SAT scores are real good, and your GPA should help, but any other extra curriculars or hooks would be good to know, because they look for very well-rounded students.</p>
