Chances at Pepperdine U

Hey everyone my name is Brendon and I live in Vancouver British Columbia. I come from an upperclass family making 150+ a year. Im looking of applying to UCSC, UCSD, UCSB, and UMiami and PEPPERDINE. Im looking to do pre-med then medical school to become a doctor. My motive for that was because when I was 5 I had a brain tumor that gave me 1 percent chance of surviving. Only 40 people in history had this tumor and only a few survived. I probably will be writing about that in my essays.

I go to a self directed school where students pace themself and teach themselves. Only 3 schools in Canada are like this and students attend seminars etc really preparing you for how University is.

How do my chances look? This took me a long time to write so could you guys please respond.

Hi brendon ,
You look like you have a very good chance, grades seem to be well within the range..ec's are good and your church association is a plus as well as your service activity. I do know they have grea theater dept. that allows for open auditions for their performances, which may be of interest to you. My daughter's suite mate last year was a pre-med major. So good luck!

Wow lucky you. In my school a 93 is an A. I got three 92's this year...they are considered B's...hahaha

and to answer your question, ya it looks good. just write real nice essays

Most Catholic schools scale 93 is an A. The scale is higher ovverall, but I think the colleges are aware of this and take that into consideration.
