My name is Dimitrije and I'm from Serbia and Montenegro (ex Yugoslavia).
In short. My biography:

I'm 18 years old and I'm the 4. grade (that's like 12th grade in American high schools, senior year) in Mathematical high school. This is the best school in my country (so it's high competitive school). My GPA is 5.00 out of 5. I'm in top 5%. I was a member of Serbia and Montenegro team at Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Romania 2005 and at IMO in Mexico 2005, but I didn't win any medal.

Last year, I was first at National competition in Maths.
I have been the best in my generation at national informatic (programing) competition for last two years, but there were some students who are older and because of that I won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal on national competition, and 1 bronze on republic competition.
Physics (02-04): 2 sliver, 4 bronze
I'm the only one in my country who was on three national competitions.
I didn't work Sat yet, but my calculations are
SAT verbal 600-700 , math 800, writing 600-700.
SAT subject physics 750-800, math II 750-800 (but both probably 800),and I didn't decide what is my 3rd subject(probably world history)!!
I play basketball for 8 years in local club, and i'm in school basketball team. I'm also a member of school chess (3 years) club and debate (from the begining) club and I know to play many other sports as soccer, handball, voleyball...(sports which play with ball). I have volunteer work.
I want to study engineering, economy, computer science or math (probably economy but I can apply as I want to study math and then to have better chances). I don't have enough many to pay, so I need the scholaship.
Could you tell me what are my chances for these universities:

UC Berkeley
Princeton University
University of Pennsilvania
Stanford
MIT
Duke
Dartmouth
Rice University
Washington University in St. Louis
Cornell University
Brown University
UCLA
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Northwestern
Tufts
Harvey Mudd

sorry about that  ...anyway I think you still have a chance at the ivies and not only.most of the univ in your list offer fin aid to intls( don't know much about cornell....was pretty enthusiastic about it at first, but then I found out they don't pretty much give fin aid to intls...and that most of the international students at Cornell are Asian so...)
don't know what more to say. I'm applying this fall too....

wow...that's some serious college package man...should definitely hitthe ivy league...and got ECs too...u r so in already...good luck with ur SATs and stuff...

I'm applying ED to Brown(I'll see about RD list after I finish this application...I mean....I have already developped a long list...need to eliminate some of the schools, but after I see what my sat results in this fall will be). But I'm applying to Brown because I totally love it. Brown is quite different from other universities and some might not like it :)
you really stand a chance at those big Ivies like Princeton or Harvard and also at MIT. don't miss it!

Lakshimi: What do you want to study?? I see that you are from Romania, so do you want to study MATH?
And could you recommend me some good safety, which have good program for economy or engineering??!!!!

as a matter of fact, yes, I do want to study math :D
I think there are some univ on your list that are good as safties. I can't tell you much about their economy or engeneering programs because I haven't much been interested in those fields. sorry.

collegewoes.....I think is more important in which field you want to make your PhD...I mean...I am sure you can PhD in economics from a math major for example. plus, if you want a list of the proffesions...there are plenty...even on collegeboard. (hope my answer doesn't sound rude...I wasn't meaning it to sound rude anyway :P)

lakshmi, i just wanted to say that i really hope you get into brown.like if they would be able to see your posts here, they'd admit you right at that moment, you seem sooooo in loved with it. you just let it show in your essays and it will give you a huge +. keeping them crossed:)

there are various reasons: the first is that it provides the academical background I'm interested in. The second, it has no core curriculum! (this is one of the features that distinguishes Brown from most top univ.). The third:I've read comments about college life from different people at different univ: all that I can say is that 99% of the comments I've read about were positive. plus I kinda like the kind of people that go to Brown(meaning I think I would fit in just perfectly :D). Also, someone I know is in the class of 2009 and he likes it very much.

I think UCB would be the best for you because its definately one of the best for all 3 of your Interests. The problem is that you are international so there is no FinAid available for you.

Princeton is good but you should also consider Yale and Harvard.
