Chances at Princeton?

I go to arguably the most well respected high school in the country.
My grades, however, are average. (About a 3.3)
My SAT I: 750/720/660
My SAT II: 730/720/660 (friggin' Spanish)
My father was a well known graduate.

My extracurriculars are solid, not great.
My teacher recs will be enthusiastic.
My counselor has told me he will recommend me, and I have a letter being written on my behalf by an alumni interviewer.

I know Princeton is lenient on its alumni sons, but don't know if I've done enough.

My chances?

What are your credentials besides academic? Do you play a musical instrument? Do you play a sport? Do you have any talent? What is your essay like?

These are the areas where you can improve your chances.

The essay must be eye-catching. It is the basis of whether or not you will even get in the door.

I have a daughter who plays the piano and the cello. She has spent many hours over the past 10 years learning and practicing. She is in both the HS orchestra and an well local orchestra. In other words she shows that she is not a 1 dimension person.

Princeton, as well as other of the IVY LEAGUE schools, want students who are able to take advantage of all that the school has to offer. This is where you have to show your passion for the extracurriculars.

Good Luck

OMG! I just read the most ELITIST document ever about Princeton "alumni sons." They uncovered it from the '50s and it was crazy.
