can anyone please give me opinions and judgements for admission chances at these schools listed?!

-USC
-UDUB
-LMU
-University of San Diego
-Occidental College

USC--match to slight reach (match if you get those 18/1900, slight reach otherwises)
LMU--safe match
University of San Diego--safe match
Occidental College--match
UDUB (I don't think most people on this forum would know that you mean the University of Washington, but I lived in Seattle for about six months, so)--match

hey, thanks so much.

where would you recommend to go for a good bio major and pre-med?

Hey....

USC...match
LMU...safety
USan Diego...safety
Occidental...match/safety
UW...safety

What island you from? Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Hawaii, Lanai, Molokai?

PS--You might get more mileage off your stats, if you apply to other regions besides the West Coast.

USC... reach. Your GPA, rank, EC's are all a match for SC, but that SAT will just totally knock you out of consideration. You'll need an 1800 just to be acceptable - 1900 to be competitive in that aspect.

LMU... match
UCSD... slight reach... same SAT considerations as above
Occidental... safety
udub... safefty

isleboy:

i'm from oahu. what island are you from? where do you go to school now?

what do you mean by this:
"PS--You might get more mileage off your stats, if you apply to other regions besides the West Coast"

more mileage?

all right, thanks.

hey, thanks seniorSC!

uhmm, well not UCSD, but thanks anyways. i thought about applying there, but they're so strict on OOS applicants. i was talking about USD, the private one.

one more thing though, i hear a lot that Occidental is a safety or match for me, but their SAT averages seem pretty high, at least greater than my scores. well i guess these people tell me this because i tell them to consider my hopeful score increase.

another thing seniorSC, how do you like SC? how's the learning environment with relations to teachers? the campus location? getting around? not sure if i should ask about the football team because someone might brag. haha.
