I am a founding member and Student Curator at the Corita Art Collaborative. My school used to be a college, and one of the professors there was a prominent Pop Artist named Corita Kent. She showcased her work with people like Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollack. After her death, all her work was left to the school, and no one really new how to take care of it. It was hanging in the most random places or sitting in dark rooms. They brought in a woman to take care of it, who I began to work with. We founded a team of about 20 students to restore Corita’s work and catalogue it. We have made catalogs every work, restored paintings, and developed a student docent program.

I am doing a law program at St. John’s College this summer and I taught myself Irish Gaelic over the summer before my sophomore year

Awards: Freshman year best Theology Student (catholic School), Sophomore year best French Student

Class rank: My school ranks by quintiles, so I know I am in the top quintile ( top 20 out of 100 student class) but I don’t know where exactly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I visited with my sister to Smith she had a 30 ACT and 3.77 UW GPA. You are a solid candidate, a recommendation would be to focus in just one area such as music/art/science. Also they care a lot about the essay, they hate generic, so don’t be afraid to write something way out there. My sis wrote her essay on something about the a snipers psychological effect of killing and compared that to the way schools are taught. Just Remember to be out there with the essay. Otherwise you have a extremely high chance of making it in. Good Luck!

FYI sis picked scripps college over smith and Barnard

Definately a match school for you.
