Chances at T14

I'm a Junior at NYU right now with a 3.72 cumulative GPA. On my practice LSATS I'm scoring around 165 at the moment without a significant amount of study. I hope to crack 170 by the time I actually take the test in June.

My worry is that I have limited work experience. I've read that some schools (Northwestern in particular) won't even consider you without considerable work experience in the field.

I know that I want to go to law school, but I also want to be realistic with the schools that I apply to. Where should I look to apply? Is T14 unrealistic?

Don’t take my word on this but I’m pretty positive that the work experience factor only comes into play for business school. With law schools it really comes down to your LSAT then your GPA.

Northwestern is the only one of the top 14 that pays much attention to work experience of less than about 5 years duration. It does accept some applicants without work experience, but definitely weighs it more heavily than any of the others.

Without a REAL LSAT score, nobody can tell you whether T14 is realistic.
