I am hoping to apply to the top colleges in the east coast

MIT (probably early)
Columbia
Cornell
Yale
Harvard
Princeton
Upenn
Stanford
NYU
BU
Rice

I am willing to hear your take on my situation.

no offense, but your SATII MathIIC score is on the lower end for MIT and your other top schools (look at your percentile, 800 is in the 88th so i can only guess how low 760 is). other than that you have a great chance at all the schools you apply to and should get into BU, Rice, and NYU and atleast one of the ivys, if not 2 or 3. is long as your rank is high (if your school gives them out) and your essay/recs blah blah blah you will have good chances to get into all the schools you apply to but remember, harvard, princeton, yale, staford, mit, columbia, and penn are very selective and there is a fair chance you may not get into any of them, but i think you can get into one or two of them.

here's a suggestion: have a teacher or qualified reviewer look over all your essays before you send them in. I can tell you're not a native english speaker, and your essays are bound to come across as stilted and make a poor impression on the adcoms. No native english speaker would say "chances at the colleges", but knowing when to include/omit the article is something non-native speakers have trouble learning. Do yourself a favor and have someone review your essays to correct your grammatical errors.
