I have heard U Washington is difficult for out of state applicants… What are my chances?

why would u go alllllll the way to the U of Washigton... i don't understand. You live in Chicago, think about NWestern or U of Chicago.

those schools are really expensive, U of C is too nerdy and in a bad neighborhood, NW is too close, i used to drive there for swim meets

i think so. what about ECs?

i have seen some kids with far worse stats get into university of washington out of state.

Are you sure you want to go to UW?

"I have a 3.98 GPA weighted at a very difficult public high school in the suburbs of chicago. my unweighted GPA is about 3.6"

I think you have a good shot - as long as your grade trend is fine. UW is largely numbers based.

Is there any particular reason you want to go to UW? Because, I think you can do a lot better... especially with the OOS tuition you would have to pay. :o

washington has a strong business program and i like the city of seattle but tell me some more good schools with reputable business programs that i could get into
