I know my Ecs arent very gr8, but do i stand a chance at the top colleges particularly Johns Hopkins?
Any chances fr a scholarship?
Any help will be appreciated!!!

dont mention the stuff that you did in 6th standard and 8th standard. only say 9th standard up. they want to know about high school. also, the crossword competition looks a little bit desperate. with all that stuff taken out, ec are pretty weak. i dont know how youll do at JHU.

also, when you say research for chem, bio, physics, do you mean classroom research, or homework research? Or did you actually go out of your way to a lab and conduct serious, voluntary research?

you make other indians like me proud! your def. a match at JHU, maybe even a safety... (just dont apply for biomed eng. thatll kill your chances)

You can only include ECs from "high school" and beyond. So nothing from 8th standard or lower. I don't quite remember the standard-grade conversion :) Nice SAT score by the way. I'm sure you're into JHU.

^yea, thats what i said, and with that, chicra, all yuo have is:

Debating Society(gold medal+silver medal+best interjector trophy)
Have done research projects in Physics, chem and bio
Have worked in a doctors clinic as summer job
Several awards in New South Wales University's International Evaluation Exams

and that seems a little sparse ( also took out the writing competition, since you dindt get an recognition/winning - anyone can enter a competition, winning something is worth putting down)
