What are other good interests to show considering I only have a few months to take them up?

Could someone talk about interviews and how much I could benefit from them? Are they absolutley neccesary for top schools or are they just supplemental and rarely help anyone get in?

I don't really hold any concrete leadship positions, though I've always been involved. I could fudge some I'm sure, but I don't think that counts.

Any advice on what I could do in the next month or so to increase my chances? I know I have the ability to achieve, I just don't know what opportunities there are.

But on paper, colleges don't see whether you do it because you enjoy it or because it looks good. I play sports only because it's what I like; the other stuff not so much.

Exactly bandit. Maybe 5 years ago you could count on one of those schools with your stats but not today. Just above the average SAT score at the ivies, acceptable GPA and average ECs could yield rejection at all if not accompanied by great essays and recs, if many apply from the high school, etc.
