UCSC/UCR: Match

Actually, your current UC GPA is 3.2--and that's presuming that both your Spanish and Chemistry classes count as honors for the UC system.

The reason that this is lower is that the UCs don't count any 9th grade classes or grades in computing the totals, and they don't count your 10th grade PE class in computing the totals.

Which means that so far you have 4As, 5 Bs, and 1 C (a 2.8 UW GPA), and because you get to count the 4 semesters in Spanish and Chemistry as honors you add in 4 points to your Grade points (a 3.2 UC GPA).

The computation is as follows: (4As * 4 grade points per A) + (5Bs * 3 grade points per B) + (1C * 2 grade points per C) + 4 honors points = 32 grade points divided by 10 (4As + 5Bs + 1C) = 3.2 UC GPA.

This year you are taking an additional 4 honors courses, meaning you get 4 more points (and the most the UCs count over two years is 8 semesters of honors--so this works out okay for you).

Based upon this, your chances (as an in-state resident) are:
UC Davis: Reach
UC Santa Cruz: Match to Slight Reach
UC Riverside: Match
UC Merced: Safety

Good luck.
