Okay, a couple of quick notes here which have already been repeated on this site many times:

The UCs count only sophomore and junior grades, they count only the 15 UC "subjects" they consider important (they throw out PE and Health and Teaching assistant type courses). The honors courses they count can be determined by looking them up on a website they provide (although they always count AP and IB courses as honors), and they "cap" your UC GPA by only counting the first eight semesters of honors courses (or AP and IB courses) taken in the 11th and 12th grades.

Also, it is tougher to get into all of the UCs from out-of-state than from within state. (For example, you need at 3.00 UC GPA in-state to even qualify to apply, whereas you need a 3.4 UC GPA from out-of-state).

Based upon the courses you've taken so far (and presuming that the UC system would count your Chemistry and Spanish courses as honors courses), you have a 3.70 UC GPA. In-state for Davis you need about a 3.9 UC GPA and a SAT score of 1800. In-state for UC Santa Cruz you need about a 3.6 UC GPA and SAT of around 1650.

So based on your scores, (and since from your "handle" you appear to be from Arizona and therefore out-of-state), I would rate you as:
UC Davis--slight reach to reach
UC Santa Cruz--match

True, The_Brian--but keep in mind that we are talking UC GPA here--and that is the average overall of those admitted to the school. So, as an out-of-state applicant, aznshorty1900 will have a hard time with that 3.70 UC GPA--especially with just average SAT scores as well. (average for the UCs that is)

If he's in state, I agree his chances are slightly better. (His SAT and GPA are still a little below the average). Maybe the OP can let us know if he's in or out-of-state, since I was going by his handle (aznshorty1900).
