So what are my chances guys? I honestly don't think I have a chance at LA or SD but I would like to know your opinions regardless, haha. UCI is my 1st choice and UCD my 2nd.

good shot at irvine, davis. not sure about sd or la u gotta raise ur SAT scores tho

You should look into Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.

Irvine is a match. Davis is a low reach. UCSD, most likely no… UCLA, just no. I hate when people are just flat-out brutal on this site cause I’m a senior too, and I really am wishing you the best of luck. but with an 1800 SAT and a 3.64 weighted GPA, you better have invented something really earth-shattering if you intend to get into SD/LA/CAL.

But if Irvine is your #1 I’d say you’ve got about a 50% shot at it.

Haha, it’s all good. Sometimes you just need someone to be brutally honest. I really don’t intend on going to SD or LA anyways, I wanted people’s opinions just for kicks, ya know? Irvine is my 1st choice for colleges regardless. Even if I did get into LA I think I’d die there with all the geniuses, haha. I think Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara would be my backups if I don’t get into UCI but Santa Cruz is too close to home for me and I know more people going to Irvine than Santa Barbara so I think it’d be fun to at least have some good friends there to guide me through freshman year. :)

Are you in ELC?

I don’t think so…I got an ELC letter but it’s not the top 4% ELC letter with the code in it. I think it’s just the top 12.5% ELC letter saying I’m “eligible” but being eligible has a very vague meaning. :P

Thaitea do you mind me asking what high school you go to? I live about 25-30 minutes away from Santa Cruz myself.
