Chances at UCI

I sorta screwed up in high school and I’m worried I won’t get into my top choice of UCI. I’m in one of the the most competitive schools in California, Monta Vista in Cupertino. I also got a c in Chem honors so Im worried that class might affect my chances.

UC gpa abt 3.81
Sat: 2130 total and 1440 for cr and math
Ec: dance, choir, martial arts, over 100 hrs volunteering and in the process of publishing an app
Subject: bio-770 and waiting on math
Chem honors,ap bio, Spanish 4 h, pre-calc h

UCI likes high GPA vs high test scores. What is your intended major? I think you have good chance and since you go to a competitive HS, your lower than average GPA will be taken into account.

Apply broadly and make sure you have 1-2 safety schools on your list.

Thanks. Not really sure about my major. Probably engineering or political science.
