<p>I live in MA and have a 3.59 weighted GPA in a rather competitive public school. 2240 on SAT (1440 out of 1600) and have taken 2 APs but other than that all accelerated classes other than one honors math class freshman year. I've heard that good standardized test scores will help a lot for out of state at any school, is this true? Will the discrepancy between my GPA and test scores hurt me? thanks for any replies.</p>
