uc gpa 4.06
sat i 1650
sat ii 620 and 680

i run track/cross country
active in some clubs(im a treasurer in a club if that matters)
have a part time job in retail
around 140 hrs of community service

im in elc if it counts

chances at the UCs? appreciate any feedback

berkeley/la - reach
sd - slight reach, match
i/sb/d - match
r/m/sc - safety

i dont agree with the above posters odds. ucsd is deffiantly not a match-slight reach with a 1650 sat. no way. the posters gpa is approx average for an admit into ucsd, and slightly lower than average admits into ucb/ucla. but the posters sat is hundreds upon hundres of points below the averages of ucsd/ucla/ucb. even with elc, ucb/ucla are large reaches, and ucsd is a reach. if the poster could bring up his sat's into the high 1800's low 1900's, ucsd would move to a slight reach and ucb/ucla would move to a reach.

UCB/UCLA: Large Reach
UCSD: Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safety

thanks ucchris yeah my sat is real low .

I agree with ucchris's assessment of your chances.

ucsd sent me some letter that they want me to apply. i have no idea if this actually means anything but does this in anyway boost my chance for san diego?

no.
that is sent to all elc candidates. kind of like that stuff that other colleges spam you saying "Because you a such a great student apply to our school"

yayarea510:

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match

thanks for all the responses
