The fact that you're an ELC student more or less guarantees that you'll get in -- UCSD has ~90% acceptance rate for ELC students. On top of that, you have strong scores and you were a House page -- you'll be in, easily.

It's not. UCSD is less selective than some people might think it to be. The average UC GPA for it is half way between that of UCLA and that of mid-tier UCs, though it admits ELC students at a much higher rate than UCLA (which is 50-60%).

Plus, being a page for the House of Representatives would give you a very good shot at UCLA (I'd say you're a match for UCLA with that).

Thanks for the feedback, but i'm really worried- i found this points system from 2004 and tried to use it according to my scores and such. I barely made the cutoff for that year, and i heard it increased since. is that system bogus, or what else?

I think you got a great shot at all three top tier UC's. You should be in at UCSD, and have a great shot at UCLA. Berkeley might be tough but you never know, you got a good shot there as well.

UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safe Match-Safety

Here is freshmen admit profiles for the UC's. This will help you get a better feel of where you stand.

As you can see in terms of GPA and SAT's, UCSD is significantly closer to UCLA than it is to Mid-Tier UC's. However, where it is easier than UCLA is in terms of ELC admission where most individuals who are ELC will get into UCSD, while approx 1 out of 2 will get into UCLA. Both schools are obviously quite competitive to gain admission too. I think you have a great shot at getting into both UCSD and UCLA. From someone who has attended both schools, UCSD is deffiantly up there with UCLA, with the edge going to UCLA. But I personally feel UC Berkeley is in a different league than the other two top tier UC's, just my opinion. But saying UCSD as an institution is not up there with UCLA is simply not correct. They are very similar and the students are of similar quality. UCLA's admit stats are slightly higher, and ELC admission rate is the biggest difference between the two. However, UCSD has 99% of its freshmen class in the top 10% of their high school class, while UCLA has a slightly lower 97%. Both schools are very competitive. Best of luck!
