Hey guys,
Just wondering what you think my chances are given my current stats. I’m thinking about Computer Science as a major, and i’m and out-of-state (California) student.
Stats:
UC GPA: 3.8
UW GPA: 3.5
–Strong upward trend (Fresh: 2.7, Soph: 3.6, Junior: 3.9)
SAT:
Attempt 1: 2030 (CR: 640, M: 700, W: 690)
Attempt 2: 2070 (CR: 770, M: 670, W: 630)
Having a bit of a dilemma about which score to send. Is higher score or consistency more important?
ACT: 31 (S: 28, M: 30, R: 33, E: 32)
-National Merit Commended Scholar
-2nd Place at a local hackathon
-Varsity Track and Field for 2 Years (Soph and Junior)
-Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Computer Science Club at my high school
-Programming class at my local community college in the summer (A)
-Honors English in all years of high school
-Senior Year: AP Calc AB, AP Stat, AP Comp Sci
-Worked for past 2 summers at a university library
1 major downside is that I didn’t take any AP classes junior year, so the ones i’m taking now are my first.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
