Chances at UF?? T-minus almost 5 days!

<p>Okay I know we'll be finding out in about 5 days (for those ED) about out admissions but I wanted to know what everyone else thought. I already got accepted to Auburn but UF chances??</p>

<p>Is UF a good chance? I was hoping to stay in my home state for scholarship purposes but otherwise, I just want to stay in the South.</p>

<p>g8trmom, did your son get in ED? or was he deferred first? i've been hearing horror stories about UF so im a little anxious..ps. honors needs a 1400 SAT and im actually glad to not have to worry about honors even if they get to live in hume or whatnot.</p>

<p>Yes, my son applied ED. UF is the only school he wanted to attend, and the only school he applied to, at least at that point. He got 1390 on the SAT, too, and didn't take the ACT. His rank was 1/652. GPA: 4.0 uw, 4.89 wtd. Almost spooky, how much alike you two are :-). I can't imagine you getting turned down.</p>

<p>I have very similar stats to you alexx, except the 1400 sat but I don't want honors. If your like me, no matter what is said to you you'll still tweak out until friday.</p>

<p>Hey Ruo, itll actually be T-4 at 5pm tomorrow. so that means we have to suffer through class all week! yeah im def "tweaking". ive created so muuch extra homework and cleaning for myself to pass the time...spooky for sure g8trmom..UF was going to be the only school i applied to but i knew i could get a letter from auburn less than a week after applying (rolling) so i caved in to have a back-up.</p>

<p>yeah I was going to go pull a suicider too (apply 1 school only) but I got FSU as my backup. Worst part isn't even that. The worst part is that on friday my school has a service day where the seniors participate in habitat for humanity and we go build a house. Don't get me wrong I'm all for it but building a house = no computer = no checking = AHHAHDHLLDJKLD</p>

<p>i feel like a traitor if i apply to FSU but that damn bright futures is so hard to beat. its like if you can have it paid for, why not? omg. at least youre doing habitat for humanity but i know what you mean.my friend has to work at 4 on friday and im like , okay just give me your screenname and ill call you at 5. i know i couldnt suffer through it. haha</p>

<p>I'm in the same boat as you guys... Friday can not come soon enough. I cant comprehend what will happen if I don't get into UF (though I've already been accepted to some other schools as backup - before my ED school - go figure...). And in case anyone is curious, I applied for Mech Engineering.</p>

<p>Good program. Actually all the engineering programs are really good. My research supervisor's husband is getting his PhD in it and she is getting it in another engineering field.</p>
