Chances at UMich with not many APs?

Hi, I was wondering, for University of Michigan- Ann Arbor if you have good EC's, a great GPA and ACT score, excellent essays, and 4 glowing recommendation letters (from counselor, math teacher, english teacher, and Rabbi), can you be rejected solely because you did not take many AP courses? I took 1 my junior year (AP English Lang) and I'm in 3 senior year (AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP French). There are many AP courses available at my school, but I only chose to take the AP courses that I felt pertained to my interests. I took all honors classes otherwise, except in social studies. I am a good student. Will I be severely penalized for my lack of APs? Do I still have a chance? Thanks.

You’re going to have to give us the scores…

UMich admission is by evaluating multiple factors. If your school does not offer much AP classes, it will not hold against you. Did you check your hs profile for the average number of AP taken per student at your school? Anyway, your number of AP is fine and is above average (inclduing senior year). But remember, your GPA is up to Junior that includes only 1 AP course. So you really have little excuse to have a lower GPA (UMich average for admission at 3.85). Nevertheless, if you have great score and and good GPA, that would overcome your less rigorous course load…
