Chances at University of Minnesota - TC

Particularly, I'm trying to get into Carlson School of Management. Also, I'm in-state and would desire most to go here.
Act = 28, Cumulative GPA = 3.5 (unweighted only), top 25% (I THINK)

1 Honors class freshman year (honors geometry),
5 Honors classes sophomore year
6 Honors classes junior year
4 AP classes and 1 Honors class senior year (APs only offered senior year)
-have NOT taken an economics class, as my high school doesn't offer one

My ECs are lacking...I was in jv/varsity CC for two years, varsity golf for four years, concert band (which counts as a class at school) for four years, and jazz band for one year, attended MMEA Minnesota All-State band for euphonium and only forty hours of community service logged, and three paying jobs (two different golf course grounds crews, and retail sales associate)

If it helps at all, both my brother and sister graduated from U of M, and my brother works there as a network administrator currently.

Well, the middle 50% is 28-30 ACT score. So you’d be on the lower quarter of applicants to be admitted, and your GPA is also on the low end. I don’t know how many classes you’re taking, but your schedule looks fairly rigorous. Good luck!

hah, yes. I feel like I HAVE a chance, but the chance of getting in is just as likely as the chance of getting denied…My gpa is relatively low but my schedule has been totally filled each year with the exception of two one-semester long study halls, and I have been in every honors/ap course possible except two. But I’m hopeful.

also, do they see individual ACT scores other than just the composite?
my math was 33, but the other parts were about 25-26, and my essay was 8.
