Well all of you were attending conferences, I was working at YMCA camp as a counselor, I got best program staff! Does that help?
I also wear a large wolf costume for dad at his flea market.

I'm applying to:

Reach: Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Duke
Reach/Match: Northwestern, Wash U, Georgetown,
Match: Vanderbilt
Safeties: U of Illinois, U of Michigan, U of Wisc. Madison

I want to major in poly sci most likely, fairly undecided.

Just looking for a few dif. schools to apply to suggestions. Thanks dudes, much love

anybody help please?

Your list looks fine. You have 10 schools with a range of reach to safety.
I would expect you'll do well at Northwestern, Georgetown and Vandy, as well as your safeties - with a number 1 rank, your reaches are not unrealistic. Rather than adding more, concentrate on doing a great job on your essays, and why these schools would be a good fit for you.

I just dont think I will number 1 after this semester is all... competition is tough and Im looking at B or 2... its rough... will be 2nd or 3rd hurt me that much?

No - it won't really matter. When it comes down to #1 vs #3 it's the other things they look at - especially ECs and essays. That's why you want to get to know each school on your list very well, and send in essays that reflect why you'd be a good candidate for that school.
Be sure to visit each one and interview (with the exception of state schools, and Stanford, as they don't care), and an overnight at WashU would be a good idea. All of your schools are mid-sized, or large, universities, which seems to fit your interests well.

Thanks for the help

Can you (or anyone) suggest any liberal arts colleges to apply to I'd have a good chance at? Recently I have been thinking I may prosper at one (while I may do well at Northwestern, I live in the chicago suburbs and look to get away from the midwest... for growth purposes).

Thanks, any other input about chances or other schools would be lovely

Anymore lovin? Please, im scared!

Have you considered liberal arts colleges like Pomona or Swarthmore?

I had them mentioned to me... Im looking to probably major in some sort of Politcal science aspect... if that means anything in specific school choices

Don't kill yourself with the AP classes your senior year. I don't normally see people taking so many APs their senior year, but those classes will look great on your transcript. I concur with what most of the people said about your chances

I was thinking i may taken too my AP classes, and I will get a few b's as a result, but still, colleges like more hard classes

Do you have suggestsions for matches?

Try Government at William and Mary. W&M is not listed as a liberal arts college, but it sure waddles and quacks like one.

Cant say Ive heard of government, where is that?
