Honors:

I dunno...

Here is my problem. I do not know if I will be number 1 after this semester, I probably will not be, AP english is killing me (my teacher doesnt like guys), so I may drop a few spots. And that was all I had going for me, I didnt do top notch on tests or course taken... The schools are very much reachs. What are my chances?

Also... My mom may have screwed me over. She sent in the wrong ACT scores... She sent in my 30 composite and 34 composite. The reason was becuase the 34 did not have a writing score. However I was going to send in a 33 composite with a slightly slower writing score than on the 30 (31 on writing as opposed to 33 on writing), becuase I did not want colleges seeing my 30... if that makes sense. Now it sucks they will see that 30... what should I do with this. Try and contact the schools? Still send in the 33?

Anyways... what are my chances. I need some schools Ill probably get into, but will still be happy... these schools are all reaches (excepting the lower end of the spectrum, but those are safety safeties becuase I am from the midwest, Illinois).

Thanks guys... this means a lot

one comment: i REALLY dont think you should be applying to ANY of those schools if your mom is the one sending your scores to those schools and not you. and then blaming it on your mom is AMAZING!!!

I dont blame my mom... she did it without asking me... I was unawares. Should I not apply becuase I cannot get in... or was that a cruel way of saying you are an idiot for letting your mom mess up... becuase if it was, there is no reason to add insult to injury... I am scared enough

the second one. you have a great chance at some of the lower schools on your list. if u boost your sat2s up to 730+. even better. stanford is a reach for everyone. but it might be a slight reach for you. get good essays letters of rec, and see what happens. just dont say its your mom's fault cuz admissions wont take that xcuse.

What if I am reallllllly nice about it and my mom sends in a video of her apologizing and sacrificing a sheep for them sarcasm

Hey though... I really need some suggestions for good schools to apply that I will probably most likely get in... cornell...? berkely...? University of Pennsylvania (sp?)

so how bout dem bears?

I need some suggestions for match schools dudes

What about ND?

what state do you live in?

ND is match to safe match for you- way above their range in gpa, rank, sat everything- apply early action and you are 90% in.

I live in the wonderful state of Illinois.

I have always been turned off to Notre Dame for some reason, I dont know if I like the blind tradition.

Are there any other good matches? I am willing to go anywhere (even south africa if need be)

what is your weighted GPA out of?

There is no maximum to the weighted GPA. I think I have the highest ever pats on back

It is computed by averaging out the regular 4.0 for A, 3.0 for B ect...

Then you add .2 for every honors or AP course. My grades reflect a fresham year with straight A's and 4 honors (4.8), a soph. year with straight A's and 5 honors (5.0), and Junior year of straight A's and 6 honors (5.2)...

Do schools even taken in consideration first semester senior year... im getting two b's I dont think I can bring up (its not senioritis, just hard courses)

Im off to bed... any other input would be wonderful

SAT tomorrow, yikes

bored, bump
