Received grades of A* and A respectively, and gained good hooks to write about in terms of international insight (i.e. debating about Egyptian democracy the very day Morsi was overthrown with students from Cairo, and talking about Brazilian riots with friends from São Paulo). Jazz band all 4 years including moving up to 1st chair Tenor Saxophone. Golf all 4 years, JV team Frosh and Soph year then moved up to Varsity fro Junior and Senior year. Self-Studied 2 AP gov courses junior year receiving 5's on both. Started and am president of club called PACE (politics and current events) at my school. I am asking the teacher moderator who likes me and we talk about politics all the time to write my letter of rec. Also, I went on trip in 2014 with school to China where we studied china all year long then went there and did service work whilst learning about the country. We taught English to migrant worker children and planted trees in the desert and gained a broader understanding of China and its prominence/development</p>
